Current River - Van Buren Route

Multiple access points to this river make it easy to plan your trip. Swimming holes and sandy beaches are frequent along the river, so take advantage! The river hovers around 70 degrees F in the Summertime. Try all the routes and find your favourite!

Current River - Round Spring Route

Another one of the many floatable sections of the Current River! Float them all this Summer! This river has a strong undercurrent, so best to leave the kids or weak swimmers behind. Life jackets are never a bad idea as well. Current River - Jerktail Route

Courtois River

Courtois Creek has a gravel bottom so it's great for swimming and there's less popping-risk for your tube. Enjoy! Huzzah River

The float from Highway 8 to Scotia takes 4-6 hours. Meramec River

Starting on the Huzzah, the float quickly merges into the Meramec river, where the river becomes wider and deeper. good fishing to be had here, if you're so inclined. Just keep those hooks away from your boat! When you reach Onondaga there's a high water bridge you float under and take out on the right. Little Niangua River

The Little Niangua has a long stretch of safely floatable water with many access point - only some of which are marked on this map. Choose your own route and aim to go between 2 and 3 miles of river length, which should last 3-4 hours. these are estimates only, as details are hard to come by. Try a shorter float first to get the timing down. Jacks Fork River

There are numerous access points at campgrounds along the river, so it's easy to customize the length of your float. The river is nice and warm, so plan on going swimming a bunch. James River

North Fork River

A long and winding river through the countryside that has multiple options for entry/exit points so you can float for as long as you like. Overnight camping is even an option on this river. The access roads are primarily gravel roads, so keep that in mind. ELK RIVER

Lots of access points on this slow-moving river. There are many raft/canoe rental places along the river that will help you out with shuttling if needed.
